Hello, new world! My name is

and I’m a designer

I help businesses, NGOs, and start-ups turn their ideas into meaningful, easy to use, and on-brand print and digital interfaces.

I have always been fascinated about designing objects and experiences, and how technology can help us do that better. One time, I taught a robot how to write Arabic calligraphy. Really.

I have been working in design since day minus-one of my studies, often spending more time on real projects than on lectures. Balancing both paid work and academia taught me to deliver results under pressure, and I still graduated with excellent grades.

Because of this, I can confidently count over 8 years of experience in visual communication and more than 4 years in designing digital products and experiences.

A little bit more about me

Fun fact #01: at 16, I quit school and pursued a life as a painter. Two years later, after being fed-up from the free-arts world, I discovered design and visual communication.

I studied graphic design and visual communication at the Lebanese University before pursuing a Master’s in Design and Computation in Berlin. In both programs, I felt like I was one of the few who knew exactly why I was there: to learn how to create objects and experiences that communicate with real purpose, clarity, and intention.

This approach still shapes my work today across UX/UI and communication design. I have a sharp eye to micro details: A perfectly tuned and accessible color palette, refined typography, a well-balanced layout. I also keep the macro structure in clear view: from clear narrative flow to strong brand presence. I’m especially skilled at expanding brand identities across physical and digital interfaces in ways that feel consistent, expressive, and usable.

More than anything, I think of myself as a curious, hands-on maker, with a hunger for new projects and the new challenges they bring with them.

Throughout the years, I gravitated towards work that truly matters: socially-driven, and not shying away from showcasing emotion. I thrive in teams where people trust each other in collaborating, iterating, and respectfully challenging each other’s thinking when needed.

Fun fact #02: in 2018, I grounded an under-the-radar design collective in Beirut aimed at training and enabling young design students to work with real-life, high-paid projects.

FAQs

  • Yes! Starting June 2025, I am open for both full-time and part-time work. Of course, freelance projects are always in the picture.

  • First things first, we have to chat.

We'll start with a free consultation/ interview online or face to face to determine your design needs (and if we'll make great collaborators).

  • If you’re offering a full-time position, my salary expectation is 50,000 - 70,000 EUR /year depending on the position and responsibilities.

If it’s a short-term project, my charge is based on both the project's scope and your desired timeline. (I am not the cheapest in the market, but I promise fair rates for quality work.)

  • I kept my last full-time job for 3 years and I really value a healthy, long-term commitment.

Freelance project timelines depend on the project, but I generally prefer to dedicate a minimum of one month, and a maximum of six months for each client, with the possibility of an extension based on my availability and project needs.

  • I prefer to work in a hybrid format, and I am based between Berlin and Beirut and often move between the two cities. As of June 2025, I am back in Berlin and happy to consider jobs that require fully in-person collaboration.

If your company is based in another city, I would be open to relocation for the right position.

PS: I actually really enjoy working from an office.
