Impact Reports for Digital Action

Digital Report Layout Icon Design Cover Design

2024 + 2025

When I was approached by colleagues at Digital Action to design their annual impact reports, my goal was not just to lay out the contents clearly, but to elevate the visual identity and communication of the organization. I saw the reports as a strategic tool to clarify the organization’s priorities and highlight voices from the Global South.

Both reports were conceived digital-first, but print-friendly. With the assistance of Jihad, I introduced an expanded iconography system, flexible enough to represent complex themes such as tech justice, platform accountability, and coalition-building. I also developed new visual elements like maps, callouts, infographics, and a modular interactive navigation structure that challenges the limits of the PDF format, improving user flow and digital reading.

For the 2024 publication, special care was given to reflect Digital Action’s mission of centering lived experiences and dismantling systemic injustice. The designed report aimed to be at once bold, accessible, and grounded. We aimed that the publication helps the organization speak clearly about its mission while resonating with its global network of activists, researchers, and allies.
